I think China is really powerful today. I hope that i can visit China
in the future. But the most important thing is that i have found a
website www.smalltao.com really good for buying clothing, jewelry from
China. The most important part of their service is that they don't
take extra money.

A Russian joke from the Yeltsin era tickled me:

Someone gets feds up of queuing for bread and decides he'll stab Yeltsin. 
The baker gladly lends him a knife.

Some time later he returns to the queue and the baker asks if he was 
successful. "No" came the reply, "The queue to stab Yeltsin is longer 
than this one."

That's rather good :-)

I did a year's Russian at school, so must have been an optimist.

(At my school all the science stream did either German or Russian, and 
I'd already done German.  Russian is a nice language, but I found it hard 
to express myself with no definite or indefinite articles.  The alphabet 
was easier to learn than I had anticipated, and brought an unexpected 
bonus when I visited Greece: I could read street signs, menus and package 
labels in shops, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I could 
understand from words which were obviously the root of English ones.)
