you're the one making the ridiculous comparison to airline seats.

there is no additional fee if you travel a lot. elite flyers have
access to all seats. the fees are for the kettles.

the gold watch is the equivalent of first class. you get 24/7 tech
support and an extra year of warranty.

however, when they sell more than they can make, there's nothing anyone
can do.

even if you buy a f/c ticket, the flight might still be delayed or
canceled.
