I still use Roxio Easy Media Creator myself, tho I dont burn much anymore.

I use it mainly because I prefer the user interface for all except
writing DVDs from what I have recorded using the PVR, normally
when someone I know missed it when it was broadcast. And I
use VideoReDo for that, mainly because its very convenient to
be able to clip what I want from the original file, do the conversion
and the burn with just a few clicks.

I use True Image for that and almost never burn backups
anymore.  I normally do backups to other drives on other
machines or to big drives in the hard drive docking station.

I'd personally use True Image to an external hard drive
rather than burnable media myself in that situation.

External drives are now so cheap, even after the Thailand floods that
I much prefer the no user intervention and speed of that approach.
