Is that your complete expression - because if so, it is obviously wrong 
because it starts with "["? Pasting the expression inside [] into 
Mathematica seems to work just fine.

Sometimes, it is worth typing an expression in again if you can see no 
obvious reasons for an error (or cut and paste the expression outside 
Mathematica, and then back in) because occasionally the box structure of 
an expression can get corrupted in non-obvious ways.
