You can change the Ticks:
yList = RandomInteger[{1, 5}, 10]
xList = RandomInteger[{1, 100}, 10] // Sort
xTicks = Table[{i, xList[[i]]}, {i, 1, Length[xList]}]
ListPlot[yList, Ticks -> {xTicks, Automatic}]
