What did you name "apparent entropy" is weaker than diehard tests.
It would only check uniformity of the distribution, but
nothing about order in the sequence.
What is aparent entropy of all 32bit numbers in ascending order? ;-)
Diehard does not measure 'apparent entropy' nor entropy.

No.
Please read the definition of entropy.

I looked one more time into diehard and deiharder.
All test are done in a similar way. We compute
a some test, witch give us a number. Mean value of tries needed
to get number greater than 1 for example. Then we know
a distribution of such results, if the input is
a series of true random numbers.
Then as a displayed result, we get place, where on the
distribution (on the cumulative distribution function, to be precise)
the number is. If the most results is very close to 0.0 or/and 1.0,
then our data have _different_ distribution than random numbers.
From diehard:
"Most of the tests in DIEHARD return a p-value, which
should be uniform on [0,1) if the input file contains truly
independent random bits. Those p-values are obtained by
p=1-F(X), where F is the assumed distribution of the sample
random variable X---often normal. But that assumed F is often just
an asymptotic approximation, for which the fit will be worst
in the tails. Thus you should not be surprised with occasion-
al p-values near 0 or 1, such as .0012 or .9983. When a bit
stream really FAILS BIG, you will get p`s of 0 or 1 to six or more
places. By all means, do not, as a Statistician might, think that a p <
.025 or p> .975 means that the RNG
has "failed the test at the .05 level". Such p`s happen
among the hundreds that DIEHARD produces, even with good RNGs.
So keep in mind that "p happens"
"
Dieharder also use this king of output:

Maybe you are speaking about other version of diehard, but if you
do not, then results 1.0 are bad.
Bonus from dieharder source
"I know that this hypothesis is technically false for all software
generators as they are periodic and do not have the correct entropy
content for this statement to ever be true."
