Sorry to put this posting here, but I couldn't find any other way to get the information I am after.

Does anyone know how I can contact an administrator for this group?

TIA

This being a usenet newsgroup, not a Google web forum. What do you
want to ask?

Don't be so hasty! If he's looking for who to pay his newsgroup dues
to, I'm your guy.

I thought it was my cousin Joe, over on the next block. He requires $20
up front to answer any questions. I'll believe he'll also take in trade,
I hear he's looking for a Microsoft camera.

The admin is a very busy man. He is a Nigerian civil servant who is
currently preoccupied with finding a legitimate foreign business partner
with whom he can share the proceeds of an accidental government
overpayment on a procurement contract.

Many of us on this newsgroup are already heavily invested with him, but
lack the financial clout to help him in a meaningful way. There are a
number of us, though, capable of answering miscellaneous questions
regarding the alternative operating system "linux".

This "linux" of which you speak being an alternative to "Linux"? That
could cause confusion.

Ah. But this is comp.os.linux.misc, not comp.os.Linux.misc. Perhaps that
has added to the confusion?

Linux/linux is case sensitive, but I'm not sure the spelling is.

Spelling is always sensitive, isn't it?

This newsgroup, comp.os.linux.misc, is an unmoderated usenet newsgroup.
