It's trivial to get a MPEG file from the card: just set the
options via v4l2-ctl and cat from /dev/video1 (webcam is video0)
to a file.  It's also easy to produce a DVD-compatible ISO using
dvdauthor and a couple other programs.  The problem is that the
resulting DVDs to date do not do trick-play.  Would your script
have whatever is required to make a DVD that does trick-play?  If
so, could you post an example.

(Trick-play means going forward or backward faster than 1X.)
