No! The lowest-common-denominator: ie. man <ID>; should give plain-text WITHOUT broken-words to "get nicely formatted" for the <ladies fashion magazine> type. Emacs is an EXTRA-layer. And the ballet dancers who want extra-extra can have music and lavender scent too. If you're navigating in difficult conditions, and quickly need info, being forced to access Emacs, is like needing a governmenbt application to scratch your ear. First of all get the minimal/basics right!
