Actually there have been a number of alternative GUI shells (with
the feature of multiple desktops/workspaces) for MicroSloth Windoze.
There were started back in the 98 and XP days, but most people are
sadly totally unaware of their existence.

If people want to run Windoze programs in a Windoze like system,
they should be looking at ReactOS which has finally started to
gather momentum/gain traction.
