You mean no difference you have perceived. Here are a few -- /tmp is now a tmpfs file, forced. You cannot disable it. Thus you cannot user /tmp as a repostitory for temporary files, since any shutdown or crash will destroy them. -- If one of your partitions fails for whatever reason the system will refuse to boot. If you are lucky it will drop you into a "rescue" shell. If not (and systemd is buggy so this is a strong possibility" you will get a black screen of death. YOU must put a "nofail" into every line of your /etc/fstab to prevent this, and then you get no warning that one of your partitions has failed to mount.
