If you have time to do them for all of the different sellers in
your search results to work out which is _actually_ cheapest.

Last time I had an order from AliExpress that never arrived, after
a month and a half I went on to claim a refund. "Wait longer".
Huff, OK. So I waited longer, half-forgetting about it, then next
time I was on their site I tried again and it said something like
"sorry, the window for claims has expired". So I got done by them
there (I could have next tried raising a claim via PayPal but it
wasn't worth the time).

I'm talking about delivery from China to Australia, not the USA.

Well those points could be applied to Aus too actually. That said
I'm sure I've seen overhead wires along UK streets on TV (they're
always getting in the way on Grand Designs). Utes with leaf springs
are valid if you carry heavy loads, though unfortunately
American-style "trucks" that are all show and don't actually have
much tray space to take a big load seem to have come into fashion
here now.
