Just got an Asus Z87I-Deluxe based whitebox off ebay,
and installed slackware 14.0 to test it out (I've got
a 14.1 dvd on order, but box arrived first and I wanted
to check it out asap).
Bit of a problem getting the networking going (as you
can see, it's fine now:), as its intel chipset needs the
e1000e driver from
 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_desc.aspx?DwnldID=15817
But now I think maybe it works fine (weirdly, it works okay,
but router at 192.168.1.1 doesn't show it on a network scan).
Anyway, I still have to get its wifi and bluetooth working,
and was looking for a page about the mb itself, discussing
all needed linux drivers for its various and sundry chips.
But couldn't get google to cough that up. Anything like that,
discussing the Asus Z87I-deluxe mb, and all needed linux
drivers? Thanks,
