Since Sunday was rather chilly and windy, I spent most of the day working on a mock up Web page. I stuck with Brackets, and basically debugged my CSS and a simplified HTML5 dummy page. I experienced a heck of a lot of problems, and had made one major typo in my HTML, which took forever for me to track down. Ergo, I am starting today with a working, clean, basic Web page, visible on my home desktop, ONLY. The really big challenges that I will now tackle are YouTube video, followed by Google Adsense ads, followed by menus. The menus should not be much of a problem, at all. My basic layout will be extremely simple and should result in very few screen size problems, other than video issues. Moi wont be using Responsive Design Grids, except perhaps for his home page. Nor, am I am in any position to decide between going with HTML5 or XHTML. In addition, I have been experiencing a very nasty Linux bug, where Linux is peppering code over my files, which I did NOT put there. It has been a pain to compose online email, but in the case of CSS it has become a royal pain in the butt. Ergo, I have been able to deduce that problem was NOT, Yahoo Mail, nor FireFox. It positively is Linux since it is now happening in Brackets. Ergo, I will have to at some point pause for a complete re-install of Linux Mint, and perhaps even switch over to a Windows version of Brackets. At this point, no body can possibly be serious about doing important programming work with Linux Mint. This has been a long standing bug, which might have gotten worst recently than it it always has been. Could be related to Cinnamon? Who knows at this point?

Snit actually saved the day for Moi. I was not aware of this mouse pasting feature, which supposedly can be traced back to UNIX. On the face of it, it seems to be a rather insane feature. But, what do I know? You cannot turn the feature off, but Moi came across a terminal script that apparently turned this feature off, more or less. From my testing of this mouse pasting feature, the terminal script appears to have worked. In addition, I turned the sensitivity of my mouse way down. Moi' world's view has been shaken to the core by Snit. Thanks for the tip, Bud. ONLY time will tell if this solves my Bracket problem.

About all that I can master is the right click.

People who misuse their tools should be shot, at dawn. The mouse is there for traversing the desktop and webpage, as well as for bring up the right click menu. Definitely not for pasting text. Of course, if you happen to be on drugs ... all things are possible. At the very least you should be able to select what you want the mouse wheel and other buttons to be used for. I went through a 3-button mouse phase in Windows. Pretty much a total waste ... With all the overkill options in Mint, you would think it would be there, but it clearly is not. Oops, the pasting problem might still be there ... What a retarded feature of Linux is all that I can say.
