In the end, it's all about the applications. I remember around 2002 or 2001, my girlfriend's dad asked me to help an old man neighbour of his with his computer. The guy was a die-hard Mac user for years - he even gave me a Mac SE and a laser printer for it - but moved to Windows 98 by the end of the millennium. The reason? Applications. He loved buying programs even though he had no intention of using any of them. It was completely illogical but you don't expect things old people do to make sense. -- SilverSlimer

I like his videos and appreciate them -- and learn from them. But Owl has a very hard time understanding why a general user would not want a rather convoluted workflow that requires a pretty high level of scripting / programming ability (much higher than most of the "advocates"... and than me). He also fails to understand the benefits of direct manipulation and real time manipulations. Still, he IS likely the best of the "advocates" at showing off Linux. Marek also used to be pretty good. >>>> Show how Linux is superior for the average, no programmer, person. >>>> You can't. Klaus Schadenfreude is a nitwit folks have auto-read his puppets/shills. What he really should use is one that keeps switching names, then they'd have a shot at being a fraction as replied to as he is. Klaus Schadenfreude doesn't have any idea what he is sniveling about. It was Klaus Schadenfreude who got caught using untold numbers of socks over and over, and these are 'people' who come clearly out of the blue immediately into threads where he was being proved wrong... continuously for years. -- Do not click this link! https://youtu.be/dNhvVfD4zu4 https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.lang.c/KDQrv8appR8 Jonas Eklundh

Klaus Schadenfreude suffers from senile lies so, to him, everything, even simple comments about tech, are "libel". Who DOESN'T know this? Seriously, those of you who troll are not able to check yourselves anymore. I thought showing Klaus Schadenfreude I know where he lives might help the situation. It did not. Learning Linux... forever a rookie. I am not going to pretend Steven Petruzzellis did not save my skin on image editing and I acknowledge his time. Klaus Schadenfreude has this thread to examine and could begin to at least pretend he has a clue from here on... but he fell on his face when he pretended to know more than Steven Petruzzellis. Can emoji be concatenated into a string with a logical connection to the "real" world; that is the question posed recently by those astonished at the fire-hose of nonsense from assorted google-posters and neck beard freaks. -- Do not click this link!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZNxaaKD7-c Jonas Eklundh

Or do you mean the one Owl and other Linux folks are having in finding a decent workflow for that? For "Snit" > "workflow" has something to do with saving recipes in PDF format The task above does not include recipes nor PDFs. What happened is you got stuck on that ONE workflow... one YOU clearly not only feel Linux handles poorly but for which you cannot move on. There is a LOT to computers. The advocates imply searching for advice for an open source application is wrong. To my way of thinking, spending time maybe learning isn't a waste. Insisting you know more than everyone else and trying to persuade people that it is true? THAT is a waste ;) Where did you find your scripts? Tizen runs on the ChromeOS kernel. So yeah, ChromeOS is mobile. ChromeOS is a super computer. ChromeOS is a server. ChromeOS is a desktop. ChromeOS is growing in market share. Sadly there are too many "slow is good enough" false "advocates" and not enough people with the patience to help the people with Macs. My view point: Even if he was simply researching for the sake of learning, the idea that earning expertise as being one of having "nothing" to show for it does not make any sense because you'll have the knowledge to show for it and knowledge is a powerful thing. Now Snit on the other end of the game doesn't matter. All that matters is Jonas Eklundh gets to deliver the punchline. So how to deal with this? Don't pay attention the moron. Reason isn't part of ruse and never has been. -- Best CMS Solution of 2017 http://www.5z8.info/--INITIATE-CREDIT-CARD-XFER--_k7s1jt_inject_worm https://youtu.be/UkAyrfOZaXc Jonas Eklundh Communication AB

This gives him a chance to show how Linux shines. My guess: he will not do so OR he will write a script to do it and claim this makes it easier on Linux. -- Personal attacks from those who troll show their own insecurity. BTW, I've already pointed out that his use of "cult-like" to describe honest people is name calling, since he's likening them to pack of wolves. Just hogwash from Chris Ahlstrom. But Chris Ahlstrom has thoroughly left tech behind and is just holding me culpable for the exploits of himself. You're clueless! Honestly, those of you who troll are not able to manage Jonas Eklundh anymore. The lone concern that matters to Chris Ahlstrom is being "honest", and if he can not have that he will do more research to effectively beat advocates down, which only serves to kill reasoned discussion. -- This broke the Internet!! http://www.5z8.info/trojan_p4g1zy_how-to-skin-a-gerbil http://www.5z8.info/michaelangelo-virus_t6v2vq_molotovcocktail https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.os.linux.advocacy/smzXrBhsWf4 Jonas Eklundh Communication
