Without someone administering the Usenet servers (And making sure their
clocks are correct) you wouldn't be able to post.

Without someone administering the servers hosting your favourite distros
and source code you'd have nothing.

Without someone administering the email servers, you'd have no email.

Without someone administering the servers where your applications can
save and share data, your applications would be useless.

You are an idiot, go back to playing with your toy Linux Desktop system.

So tell us about all the apps you've programmed, Feeb.

You got that right. I sure as fuck am NOT a stupid, incompetent
server administrator. That job is for brain-dead pussies.

But let us forego that trivial point and consider something
far more significant.

This idiot (who obviously IS a server admin) does not yet seem to grasp
the revolutionary idea of "personal computing." To his diminutive
mind, the personal computer (PC) is nothing more than a "system in the bedroom."

Well, let us set the record straight.

The most significant technical development of the 20th century,
by far, was the personal computer. The PC device enabled the common
man to harness, for his own inventiveness and creativity, unparalleled
computing power. Never before in human history had such potentiality
been unleashed in such a widely accessible form. Isaac Newton, as well
as every other great historical thinker, would have given his eye-teeth
to possess a PC.

But this arrogant twit, from his pathetic vantage of server administration,
simply dismisses this wondrous contraption as a mere "system in the bedroom."

He likely returns home from his day at the server farm and immediately
plants his fat ass in front of his wide-screen TV for an evening of
thumb-sucking Netflix. For him, that is the extent of the PC experience.

Well, there are a select few that strive to make full use of the
potent device known as the PC, and we preferentially employ GNU/Linux
because it is the ONLY OS that gives full control to the user, as
the sentient designers of the PC undoubtedly intended.

Hang this adage above your desk as an undying reminder:

Microsoft enslaves and stifles; GNU/Linux liberates and inspires.

That response is irrelevant, irrational, illogical, and imbecilic.

When reading Usenet postings, the whole point is to read the
postings, and not to examine the metadata such as headers, clocks, etc.

Only a fucking asshole peruses the metadata.

You "doxed" yourself long ago, moron. Something like 8 years before I
arrived in cola.

You wrote 21 lines of C code. It contained at least 6 errors that I - a
C novice - spotted.

That tells us everything we need to know about you, Feeb.

    > Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Errors:

1. sin[rand() % 6]
2. rnd_index_1 = rand() % 22;
3. organ[rand() % 3]
4. desc[rand() % 3]
5. hard-coded all the modulus divisors
6. you didn't 'reduce the set' as you claimed. Instead, you
       reduced the mod divisor.

So you're incompetent at your beloved C.

What's left? C#? Can you even hack it at a language you claim to hate?

"C#/.NET programmers are the burger-flippers of the programming
world."

"Fuck! C#/.NET people don't even program. They merely arrange
prefabricated "blocks" in the manner of a stupid child. C#/.NET
is a true paint-by-numbers scheme that can make any idiot feel
like a real creative software developer."
