Linux still can't compete with Windows and the Linux community is still loaded with freaks, social outcasts and losers. As for flatty's socks, if he is a Linux user I doubt he has changed his socks in 6 years because Linux users don't seem to be well versed in personal hygiene or properly grooming themselves. The easiest way to clear a room full of Linux users is to toss a bar of soap in and watch them scatter like it's a hand grenade or something.

In mobile phones, Linux is indeed dominating because every third-party wants to take the easy way out and use Android and compete on hardware rather than try to make themselves stand out in any way. I can understand some people wanting to use UNIX, especially if their administrators are well-trained and have been around with the company for decades. These guys are probably not willing to migrate to Windows.
