I pulled a santoku knife from the knife block yesterday evening and out
flies another knife that had been stuck in behind it in the same slot.
So the other knife does a nice 180 and stabs me in the palm about 1/2
inch deep. It would have been pretty cool if it hadn't been me. :)

Pull one knife out and another comes out with it and does a perfect 180
and attacks you?

Good stuff!

Any other kitchen utensils attack you last night?

No, but in a nice turn of events his bed pissed on him.

No, but my wife felt guilty for putting the knife in the wrong slot,
so she bought a purple velvet pillow with gold fringe and corner tassles,
and she plans to walk along beside me supporting my hand until it's time
for the stitches to come out.

Good girl!

I hope she's able to keep the tires on your house inflated to 48psi
during your recovery.

Clearly the knife block was defective. You are entitled to damages - both
mental and emotional. You are no longer able to use a knife to cut your food
at dinner without reliving the terrible moment. It's very serious but
nothing that a few million dollars can't cure.

Then ask yourself why it /really/ took Munich 7 years to migrate 15,000
computers to Linux. With a small team of technicians and engineers, I
could have done that in less than six months, even allowing for complete
re-engineering of otherwise "irreplaceable" proprietary components, and
I guarantee I would have come well under the budget Munich wasted, as
they stood around bitching and scratching their balls. Any company
claiming that isn't possible is simply lying (or incompetent).

Does your knife block run on the Linux kernel?

Apparently. /dev/block, /etc/fstab, /usr/bin/cut.

LOL, unlike most of open-source, it actually worked!

Earlier I took a C:\Windows\Minidump.
