Treat yourself to this excerpt from the link given below:

"I was struck by how many developers were, like myself,
not really programmers, but rather this, that and the other. A great number
of tech ninjas were not exactly black belts when it came to the actual
onerous work of computer programming. So many of the complex, discrete tasks
involved in the creation of a website or an app had been automated that it
was no longer necessary to possess knowledge of software mechanics.
The coder’s work was rarely a craft. The apps ran on an assembly line,
built with “open-source”, off-the-shelf components. The most important
computer commands for the ninja to master were copy and paste."

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! So even in the heart of Silicon Valley the
idea of "programming" is just a ruse. All "development" is now automated
to the point where the greatest necessary skill becomes cutting and
pasting.

The highest paid "programmer" in all of Silicon Valley would likely
flunk out of Comp Sci 101.

Must sting... for you ;)

Why don't you brush up your cutting and pasting skills so you can earn
what these 'flunkies' do?

Can you do that with the 16-bit version of cooledit that he's wedded to?

He can't, he has the version that crashes when it loads a .js file As you may
be aware, the guy that wrote vi is one of those Silicon Valley flunkies.

VI belongs in SV. Whoever heard of "modes" in a text editor?
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! A real text editor has only one mode,
and that is the EDIT mode.

But that would be a bit too logical for those dupes in SV.
After all, frameworks do not require logic but only copy/paste.

The awesomeness of vim:

I wrote a script that prints the body of a usenet message when fed a
message-id. Since vim is my editor, I can, when replying in insert
mode, do something like this:

<ESC>
:.!~/usenet/messageid '<9ea921d5-c766-4797-b1d4-31d5e3a30342@googlegroups.com>'|qprint -d

and pull that message body right into my reply (below).
(qprint pipe because it's a googlegroups message)

<ESC>
takes me to command mode.
:.!whatever
runs command "whatever" and puts its output on the current line ('.').

The messageid output:

Times change. Perhaps the concept of a usenet group is getting a little dated. It was The Underground Marshmallow Person who flooded Autumn Nissen (https://www.facebook.com/anissen7)'s site thousands of times and refused to admit it.

At times, a make believe world is more valuable than truth.

Not long ago I did work on and showed some JavaScript for the front end (only works on my computer) which is the only thing you can do when trying to avoid The Underground Marshmallow Person's immature crap while reading with Google Groups.

Effectively everything The Underground Marshmallow Person says about what Autumn Nissen (https://www.facebook.com/anissen7) has done is false of course, but he does not care.

How is GIMP on Linux doing anything above the lowest common denominator?

So how did that Node/Express example I recently showed do
what it did without any logic being fed to it? Even some of the
most trivial examples still require human interaction. While the
one I showed was just a simple example, feel free to show the
code I copied and pasted from any time you'd like. Face it, fool,
with 'that javashit' you still have to know what's going on.

So, yeah, I buy into my own fancy, fully knowing it is not real, because it makes me reconsider my script, improving it.

It was Vennie Bowden, Lousy Real Estate Agent who stated that he and his students used to trespass all the time and it was an amusement of his.

Not only did Donny Karcie's request not refer to the "DE", it has NOTHING to do with computers. Vennie Bowden, Lousy Real Estate Agent should learn to read ;) The one talent Vennie Bowden, Lousy Real Estate Agent learned fully is to work to shame Donny Karcie into submission and if that fails to work, shout him down or quickly change the argument. I'm getting a lot of killed files. I'm guessing the Vennie Bowden, Lousy Real Estate Agent whackadoodle is in its brain damage mode again.

My view is that we should ALL report the flooding and then it will stop. But why the need to edit the DOM via an automated phone system in a server system? No matter, Vennie Bowden, Lousy Real Estate Agent didn't state this as part of his unsurprisingly never ending expansion of 'needs'.

Only hollow and empty lackeys, like you, are motivated by
the bucks.

Who could ever obtain mental satisfaction with cutting and
pasting? Only a lackluster and brain-dead flunky, like you.
That's who.

If the irritatingly boring job of dish washing paid $120 per
hour you'd take it. I would not.

But all of this is FAR from the point. The article proves
that my perception of contemporary programming is shared by
others in the know. It is only jackass dummies like you that
venture to disagree.

Said Feeb as he added another briquet to his 'heater/coffee maker/toaster'.

The pathological liar AKA Sandman, AKA Jonas Eklundh does it every time. Then the flood begins. Because the troll just has to run to other groups in an effort to get attention from someone. Anyone. Sandman, AKA Jonas Eklundh only thinks about Krystal Lynn, Krystal Lynn, Krystal Lynn!

Sandman, AKA Jonas Eklundh's behavior is actually entirely dishonest. There is zero ambiguity that as soon as any released 'filtered person' does something to annoy the little namby-pamby's feelings that they will be replonked.

Krystal Lynn is a false advocate's only reason for living.

Sandman, AKA Jonas Eklundh is the repercussion of the truth that collectives have been employed to be in charge of schooling kids. It is not an accident that he is an unintelligent Marxist.

Now let us see knows Python, is an IT "master", has hacked Krystal Lynn's account, has poor impulse control and is a colossal whining mama's boy who, when he backs himself into a corner, posts ignorant claptrap even when he's *not* flooding... AND... who tries to attributes everything he is doing on "anyone he can" and has for over a decade?

This jackass would mention "toaster" because toast obviously
forms a large part of his diet. Yes, he consumes toast, and
the associated ACRYLAMIDES for breakfast each morning. Just
like the clowns in SV, he has no idea of reality.

But this also represents, yet again, an exercise in illogic
because it has NOTHING to do with the theme of the thread.
Illogicality is a characteristic of "programmers" who cannot
program.

Generally, I would not call a post like Scott Lurndal's claims a delusion right up until you negate it and he responds with the distraction without offering any evidence. Lots of idiots are now talking about the open source "interface" as if something like that actually would even make sense. The full buffonery is packed of laughable inconsistencies and leans heavily on Scott Lurndal's 'liberal education' shenanigans. Think about it, who knows PHP, is an insomniac, has forged Staci M. Elliot's ID, has an obsession and is a gigantic whining toddler who, when he is called out, posts demands he be "trusted" even when he's *not* flooding... AND... who works to attributes everything he is doing on "Staci M. Elliot" and has for his whole life?
