Uhhh, that particular bit of "code" makes sense only if you think it proper that a programmer couldn't make an single application that can handle <laughing> 32-bit versus 64-bit "ODBC". GodHesDumb is an idiot who cannot install proper support for 32bit only apps in his Mint let to compile applications in 64bit mode... Dumpster hardware is still 32bit only in Richmond, not in Japan though ;-) Moi is aging as fast as the 32bit world...

Where is your Linux Distro, Putz? Hey Dumbass, you cannot even comprehend how to run 32bit apps in your Mint which is designed for stupid people, how could then yo Moi understand "my Distro"? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Multilib

Are you shitting me? Applets are a feature that clearly makes the Linux Desktop extremely distinctive. Yet this MORON proudly proclaims that he has absolutely no idea what an Applet is. I wrote Applet. There is no context dribble require. An Applet is an Applet, Putz! What the fuck do you think that I was talking about? One too many vaccinations, no doubt. Kelsey Bjarnason is just another COLA ass hole. The arrogance of the delusional Linux people is truly astounding. To repeat, I started out using 64-bit Linux Mint Cinnamon Edition and it wont worth a fuck, IMHO, precisely because as I had previously stated: far too many, if not most, of the Applets simply refused to work. Ergo, I installed 32-bit Mint and the Applet problem was corrected. Linux Mint simply did a piss poor job of segregating what worked in 64-bit Linux, vs. what did NOT. ONLY a mentally ill delusional person could possible deny that indisputable fact. Those trolls on COLA constantly going on about their 64-bit Linux whatever are lying through their teeth, plain and simple.

Sometimes I even run desktop widgets for the purpose. The fact you choose to use a term such as "applet" which could mean any of a dozen different things doesn't show you are communicating meaningfully, it means you're being needlessly opaque. Not surprising. > Yet this MORON proudly proclaims that he has absolutely no > idea what an Applet is. I see you can't read, either. Tell you what, when you learn to read, go re-read what I actually wrote, then try responding to that. Or are you in fact too brain damaged to actually learn to read? If so, just let me know, because there's no point even trying to communicate in a written medium with someone who cannot read. PS: whomever is reading this stuff to John, perhaps *you* could let us know if he's up to the challenge.

Not surprising. What a joke! Thank you for vindicating my position. :) First, your long delay before responding clearly marks you as a basket case. Thanks for confirming your inability to recognize what an Applet is in Linux. That fact is truly astounding. Applets, of course, are the most distinguishing feature of the Linux Desktop. http://cinnamon.linuxmint.com/ How about this, "Applets (which are little apps you can place in the panels)." Then ... http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/applets Notice, the clear separation of 32-bit ONLY Applets from 64-bit Applets - NOT. In Linux Mint Cinnamon Edition, at least, their Applets are all jumbled together and NOT properly segregated in the least. Now, you may return to your coma.
