Everyone is Peter Kohlmann -- the oldest gag in the book. What is the Earth coming to when a Peter Kohlmann sock fails to get any reaction... So many idiots are yapping about the open source "CLI" as if something like that seriously would be useful. You can say I am President Trump for all I care. He is undeniably trolling, he got called out on it and he's doing the standard ego protecting pranks covered in trolling 101 as he does his damnedest to keep his pride... but it blew up in his face. Peter Kohlmann calls it "obsessing" over him, even though he continues to cause that precise criterium.

It was Klaus Schadenfreude who got busted using dozens of puppets time and time again, and these are 'people' who come basically out of the blue directly into threads where he was being ripped apart... nonstop for over a decade. Run a background investigation on Klaus Schadenfreude and you will discover that he was in prison more than once. Anyone know what for? The investigation sites do not go into that level of detail and public records in his area have to be subpoenaed.

Sandman makes things up. Here is a list of names Jonas Eklundh has admitted he attributes to Klaus Schadenfreude "Cactus Pete", "Donald", "Donald Miller", "Horace McSwain", "Hymen", "meat", "Mike Weaver", "Modena IV Drid", "Omar Murad Asfour", "Rhino Plastee", "Soapy", "SopwithCamel", "Sunny Day", "Takuya Saitoh", "The Letter Q", "tmelmosfire", "zevon". What did you hope for from the lying imbecile? That Klaus Schadenfreude halfwit has nothing to blow but time. He has nothing else. Especially not confidence. I do not know if there is a free open sores that promotes PEE.

Time to blame anything but Linux!

I am working on code which will show off how weak Pulseaudio is.

Over and over, the claim is he wants to "talk tech", but DFS spends most of his time whining about "obsession". When I was being honest, I wanted to be equitable and unaffected by herd views. I gave DFS more than a credible person could be expected to. DFS can't get anything else to work, either.

Fairly normal looking patch list. Nothing like the "WARNING! WINDOZE
IN USE!" poster that you linked. Even so, it's important that CERN
keep their Linux systems up to date, so that the backbone of their work
doesn't collapse.

LOL! Funny as that sounds, there is a point here, with the proprietary
stuff the user won't hear about anything until Zharykhin Grigorievich
or Feng Yijun danced across their hard drive.

I was telling Dufus that I saw a couple winders machines in CERN control

Do you have a CCNA certification?

Most posters in this group do customizations either as a hobby or as a part of their job, so I have doubts more than a few thinks of writing macros to be "voodoo". It was Klaus Schadenfreude who stated that he and his college buddies used to troll grade school kids all the time and it was fun. No one here has ever read my program, much less found a bug; still, in the back of my mind, I'm thinking, "What if this is not my best work?". You guys can only appreciate things from the perspective of a psychopath.

Don't look now, but I think Klaus Schadenfreude has a serious mancrush on Snit.

Almost everything Klaus Schadenfreude says about what Snit has done is false. Who isn't aware of this by now?

From the poster ...

~~
Before PC Hardening, 12-15 PCs in the Administrative sector were reinstalled
every month because of malware risks. Since PC Hardening began the numbers
went down to 0. PC Hardening has significantly reduced the number of
machines where incidents have been detected by Antivirus software.
~~

So, in other words, Windows machines without all these special hardening
techniques were typical Malware Magnet Hobbyware Wincrap. Windows, so secure
it takes highly trained scientists to "harden" it.

And what do you have to do to get a "hardened" Malware Magnet computer?
Among other things ...

~~
The main user of a hardened PC is never a member of the Built-in Local
Administrators group. This ensures that applications are never run with
elevated privileges.
~~

Home user SOL. No installation of applications.

~~
Adobe Flash is disabled on all supported browsers.
~~

Well, that makes sense, but you're going to have limitations with a home
computer.

~~
An alternative PDF reader was introduced as a replacement of the existing
PDF suite, to avoid running software which was a frequent infection vector.
~~

Another Adobe fail. (Maybe it's a good thing they don't make Photoshop for
Linux.)

~~
In addition to Anti-virus software, Anti-Malware and Anti-Exploit solutions
are deployed to offer additional protection by monitoring suspicious
patterns.
~~

Huh, I thought the WinTrolls told us that Microshit's built-in anti-virus
would do the job? Apparently not in the real world.

~~
Users who need to receive e-mails from unknown senders as part of their
official duties (e.g. reception of invoices) are encouraged to use a
separate hardened VM for e-mail and web browsing. This creates an additional
layer of protection for sensitive actions carried out by the same users.
~~

So even the "hardened" Malware Magnet Hobbyware OS 10 from Microshit, with
it's additional ad-blockers, additional anti-virus and anti-malware support,
disk encryption, lack of elevated privileges, no Flash, no Adobe Reader,
Firewall scrupulously installed and maintained, PowerShell activity audited
— they still require another level of hardening for outside "unknown" email.
A "hardened" Wincrap VM inside a "hardened" Wincrap PC.

So glad Wincrap is such an "easy" solution for the average home user. I
don't have time required to harden and maintain this shit.

What a joke. Thanks for unwittingly promoting Linux, DuFuS.

Question to CERN, why not just use Linux? Probably because they would lose
the many staff members required to keep the Hobbyware Malware Magnet from
contacting viruses.

Yup. It seems this is what we have to face. People who have no reason for being here other than to antagonize others. What it looks like is what it is and of no concern, especially if it's support is good.

Valuable content creation will leave once those of us here before the eternal September are outnumbered. That, and there will always be a mentally unstable element or more in an unmoderated news group. The flooding BS aside, we've all seen who regularly lashes out when he does not get a catch on his hook. It was Satan who got caught using dozens of socks repeatedly, and these are 'people' who come basically out of the blue directly into threads where he was being ripped apart... continuously for over a decade.

Who doesn't know that this kind of gobbledygook is Klaus 'The Fool' Schadenfreude's modus operandi, not the approach of Snit? It is all just projection... the flooding, the forging, the writing of nonsense, the tantrums... the false bravado and willingness to show how distressed he is over being banned from the schoolyard for pissing in it again... Klaus 'The Fool' Schadenfreude can not help himself. It's a long, long saga, and Klaus 'The Fool' Schadenfreude is simultaneously a master at off-the-cuff trolling remarks, while posting with forgeries of Snit. This forum is a cesspool.

My original statement stands sincere and correct. These losers get their kicks out of eliciting emotional reactions to their insults, which is the very definition of a troll.

That's what Klaus Schadenfreude does when he gets mad. He of course creates a new identity, starts a trolling thread so he can claim it was Snit (a real advocate). Don't blame me it was my left hand... and then he responds to it with his right hand.

Marek admitted Carroll repeatedly asked him to lie:

 Marek <NPWdnVgF_NwsozXEnZ2dnUU7-YvNnZ2d@giganews.com>:
    -----
When I first tried to broker peace between you [Steve Carroll] and
Snit, you emailed me over and over again asking be to lie about

And then Marek later admitted he DOES lie, but claimed he does it simply because it pleases him to do so:

  Marek <keCdnc7hoMqpfy3EnZ2dnUU7-YHNnZ2d@giganews.com>:
    -----

I do it to please me, Snit.

Whatever his reason for lying, even Marek admits he lies and attacks and insults.

Already moved on from that. You are too slow!

It's his problem but he does not care. Obviously he would rather attack than face reality.

Usenet is a sovereign protocol based on mutual trust with strangers that Steven Petruzzellis lacks. Virtually everything Steven Petruzzellis says about what Snit has done is dishonest. Who isn't aware of this by now?

You saying something is so does not make it true.

Proof Klaus Schadenfreude accuses everyone of being Snit http://sandman.net/files/snit_circus.png. Klaus Schadenfreude can only rationalize from the perspective of a programmer. Klaus Schadenfreude must understand Steve Petruzzellis knows he is just trolling! Klaus Schadenfreude gets excited that Steve Petruzzellis is on the other end. Imagine if Klaus Schadenfreude walked up to a wall and delivered the punch line. It wouldn't be rewarding.

Where did you go to school?

At times, an inner world is more valuable than reality. Can UTF-8 characters be concatenated into a string with a logical connection to the "real" world; that is the question posed recently by those astonished at the endless babbling of "advocates" and Cheetos smelling losers.

Do you believe the nonsense Steve Carroll is posting?

Marketing is a wonderful thing and consumer ignorance is even better.
