Until or unless Chris Ahlstrom offers up his 'superior' open source tool for assessment, there is no challenge, just wild contentions. Chris Ahlstrom's amazing "debugging prowess" blinded him to a module he wants that does exist on Zsh shell. The only thing inoperative here is Chris Ahlstrom. Now that nobody is talking to Chris Ahlstrom, he's making it sound like he's gotten what he wants -- when in fact, people are just not playing his game anymore.

Idiot. Just some names Chris Ahlstrom has used
    "Evil" John *
    "Evil" Snit *
Big Crotch on a Small Fish
    Cornelius Munshower
    CSMA Moderator
    Edward Stanfield
    Fretwiz *

    Measles
    Petruzzellis Kids
    Sigmond

I quoted examples of Chris Ahlstrom falsely attributing someone else's words to me -- blaming me for the actions of others, etc. His response: to troll Klaus Schadenfreude.

"Experience." Ha, ha, ha, ha! What a fatuous farce!

As I have always maintained, the INFORMATION is the only
experience and NOT the web site.

What you "maintin" is immaterial.

The presentation, organisation and hierarachy of information is all
important.

You sound like a typical FSF moron who thinks a pile of bits is as
easily readable as a well typeset, indexed reference manual.

The "web site" organises and categorises the information for different
people to browse, filter and bookmark.

I hope you're not paid to do any IT work. But don't worry, I can hear
Creepy Chris Ahlstrom's paws tippy tapping along the vinyl, so his
tongue will be up your backside any minute while whining about how "html
divs are an unnecessary overhead" or something equally banal and so
obviously an attempt at impressing his masters here in COLA.

Here are some of the scripted posts from Jonas Eklundh... the script adds a nonsense or irrelevant insult or accusation after most sentences and adds numbers to the text so he can better track his trolling:

<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.os.linux.advocacy/RZtEyvJr8HI/VcEqOk2qCgAJ> or <https://goo.gl/67NLfr>.

You can see a run of three scripted flood posts from his primary account.

From: Sandman <mr@sandman.net>
Message-ID: <sandman-b7df8761d3b6831e96d5976e9e67f379@individual.net>
X-Trace: individual.net +MPBYFbnugFd2iPraU5I9ABV/5ZlNHtqj79Ij19mAYCfL5sHI=
User-Agent: Sandmania 2.0

He also has them elsewhere, here are some examples:

<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.os.linux.advocacy/Xetqyi1T0F0/cvoqp3eqCgAJ> OR <https://goo.gl/jy0rsr>.

<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.os.linux.advocacy/10d0Emx_ABk/eN0r1_epCgAJ> OR <https://goo.gl/Rkz0PO>.

On that one he has a run of two.

And a longer and clearly scripted, content-free flood post:

<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.os.linux.advocacy/2WS3xlecnw8/lizfGLOnCgAJ> OR <https://goo.gl/t7cTHd>.

And even more!

<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.os.linux.advocacy/cYutxNP1hWc/KZikieXECgAJ> OR <https://goo.gl/Z6G7Ic>

<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.os.linux.advocacy/RZtEyvJr8HI/6sJfxaDECgAJ> OR <https://goo.gl/mTXlFt>

Lots more but that is enough to prove the point multiple times over. Sandman has been flooding not just with his Google accounts but with his standard account. ALL of those come from the same source I listed above and it is Sandman's standard account.

Jonas Eklundh: busted.

The way that the info is presented is the experience. Sure, there
are bloated sites that don't do the job well, but there are also sites
that are nicely designed with respect to the presentation *and* the
look. They do it while working on a number of devices, all thanks to
the things you hate most about the web, mainly CSS and Javascript.

Despite my strong avoidance of Debian, I nonetheless continue to install it for those who've had difficulties with Windows 8, especially if I have seen that they are not experienced at using the mouse and using window widgets.

With no proof at all, as is the norm for Meat. Meat claims to be the spreadsheet teacher. Let us see him put up a variant minus the pre-made loops.Meat suffers from waking nightmares so, to him, everything, even randomized bot posts, are "attacks". Who *doesn't* know this?

Wrong! It's the food. Only the food. Fuck the goddamned
restaurant. Just give me the food. I'll stuff my face with
the food ANYWHERE and ANYTIME. I don't need no fancy dinnerware,
elegant tablecloths, and smartly dressed waiters. Just
give me the fucking food and get the fuck out of my way.

But YOU would consume dog shit if it were presented to you
in a fancy, glittering package.

Wrong again. Just look at the user agent string and serve up
the appropriate page. Very simple. In fact it's so simple
that it would forever deflate all those puffed up CSS/JS snobs.

I'm saying, wisely, that people would rather have a nicer experience
while they eat if at all possible... turns out it is possible. Go figure.

You are of course wrong. Food tastes differently depending on the
anbience in which you eat it and how it's served and prepared.

By your standards we could just mash it all up and this "food" will be
"just as yummy".

I know why I took a break from COLA. Idiots like you.

I bet you thing compiling something yourself makes it "blazingly fast"?
Yes? I thought so....

John Gohde suffers from senile nightmares so, to him, everything, even randomized bot posts, are "abuses". Who does not know this?

I have a number of reasons for believing the flooder is John Gohde, who is a self professed bash scripter but I don't know if it could be used to spam like this.

Scrivener's update system failed over and over again.

Hint: You will not go into a social event, drink all the grog, bang all the herd animals, help oneself to the wallets and toss your cookies in the john without being remembered. Heck, just recently John Gohde was declaring himself the only "true Linux advocate", and claiming that "advocates" (in scare-quotes just to annoy people) are trying to rewrite Scrivener from scratch. Everyone is John Gohde -- the oldest gag in the book.

No one here has ever read my code, much less found a bug; still, in my subconscious, I'm thinking, "What if the program crashes", but nobody knows that.

What's the world coming to when a Steve 'The Flooder' Carroll troll can't get any reaction?

I'm well aware the channel I link to from YouTube is absolute dabbler level; that said, it works. Steve 'The Flooder' Carroll has yet to show how Scrivener does anything above the basics on Linux.

Can you stop pleading for my attention?

He pisses off an entire group of people who have nothing to do with anything, but that's a stuck up jerk for you. What Klaus Schadenfreude and you care about isn't a factor.

Other than Meat, who can not figure out what Steven Carroll is doing? It's easy to essentially lie by focusing on a handful of outliers differing from what's more general. What is more honest from an honest advocates vantage point are the common circumstances.

I could respond to Meat honestly but he is a blockhead who takes things out of context to implement his inclination to call everyone a shill.

What it looks like is what it is and of no concern, especially if it's hackable. See: I noted specific examples of Deplorable Owl focusing on ego and not tech -- blaming me for the actions of others, etc. His response: to double down on your lies. Regardless of my strong experiences with CentOS, I even now continue to install it for users who've had difficulties with Windows. Real posters will be destroyed once the waters are overfished. That and there will invariably be a conniption fit or two in an unmoderated news group (i.e. Deplorable Owl). The impossibility of taming a shrew aside, we've all seen who regularly pitches a fit when he doesn't get a response.

Desk Rabbit asked to be rated according to provable trolling measurements, which I accommodated. Pay for a background report on Desk Rabbit and you will learn that he was in gaol earlier this year. Anyone know what for? The sites fail to go into that degree of detail and legal records from his jurisdiction have to be subpoenaed.

Any horribly obsessive sleep deprived whacko could easily do the same.
