A friend was a quadriplegic but he had enough arm motion that he could 
type with custom made splints that used common pencils. Cheap, and easily 
replaceable when the erasers wore down. However the erasers did a great 
job of erasing the keycaps. He also used a trackball. A few times when he 
was working remotely he would ask me to do something on his machine. I 
would grab a spare keyboard for reference. It didn't help with the 
trackball that I'm left handed and always switch the mouse.
