You did yours without > showing the scripting time. On that one there is no point to show scripting time. You have to click on the recipes. Time depends on how fast you click. By the time i've clicked on three recipes and copied the links, when I look in the directory the PDFs are there. The other script below which is completely automated *does* show time. It grabbed and converted the 20 files from the page in 70 seconds. After you said something about the page continuing to scroll, I when back checked it, scrolling to the maximum. There is a maximum of 59 files. I re-did the script to account for that, and get all 59 files converted in 252 seconds: https://vid.me/Eo1d (It's boring, but then automation is not supposed to be interesting; it's supposed to be strealined and efficient, with productivity and error reduction and all that). Still not fast as I would like it. There's a bottleneck with the conversion utility. I'm working at getting it to parallelize with xargs, but it's been complaining so far. We'll see.
