Here's an example.  Epson 860XL AIO.  Printing works fine with wifi or 
wired under Linux, Epson even has drivers.  I think it supports all the 
printing functions the printer does.  I didn't look at all scenarios, 
but the ones I would expect were there.

Scanning is a little different.  Epson has Linux drivers for it, but 
they don't seem to work with a wifi connection, only USB.  No 
documentation mentions it though, and you have to dig a little to find 
the printer and/or scanner drivers.  Possibly a USB connected one, 
during an install might pick it up, but I don't use it that way so I 
don't actually know.

Fortunately scanning to the cloud IS supported without putting a single 
driver on the computer.  It is all done at the control panel on the AIO.

This scenario is not at all uncommon in the Linux world.
