He's just looking for problems. He hasn't had a stellar Linux experience and I can sympathize with him in that respect. There _are_ tons of very poorly constructed distributions which give the impression that the operating system as a whole is bad. openSUSE was the first one I used which was great on my previous laptop. Heck, it was the only one which allowed that machine to wake from suspend. Fedora is the best I've used on this machine. Unfortunately, a lot of us keep thinking that Ubuntu will provide a stellar experience, similarly the ones based on it, and the reality is that it is put together very poorly. The fact that it and its derivatives freeze for no reason should be the main evidence of that. -- CrudeSausage Unapologetic paleoconservative
