If it ain't fixed, don't break it.  Seriously, I can't really afford
the downtime to troubleshoot it.  I reseated the keyboard cable back
when, and that didn't help.  It might work for the DVD.  As rarely
as I use the thing though, a cheap USB solution might be the ticket.
The builtin DVD tray had an annoying habit of ejecting on its own
every other day.  I would close it, and it would go "Nope" and open
again, taunting me.
