Until you run out of characters whose shape you can reprogram.

Exactly. And just as even FORTRAN can be used as an OO language, it 
involves a lot of work, so we don't call it OO. Likewise, the mere fact 
that you can futz around with ncurses and reprogrammable character 
shapes does not make it a graphics library.

As someone who has taught CS for 30 years, programmed Apple II 
characters to draw shapes, used ncurses for 20 years, programmed GUI 
apps on modern equipment, I think I know what I am talking about. You 
clearly don't. Any language with sequences, loops and conditionals can 
program any algorithm. That doesn't make them all OO, or all databases, 
or all graphics libraries, even though in theory all of them can do all 
of it because all Turing complete languages can program all algorithms - 
in theory. You make an entertaining point, and I told you the limits of 
it. But now you have just proved yourself to be a rude arrogant jerk. 
Usenet is a discussion forum, where people who actually don't know what 
they are talking about can learn new things without being insulted. So 
if you can't live up to that standard, plonk to you, I'd rather talk to 
the people who want to learn what they don't know and teach what they do.
