I've no issues with Linux either. I run openSUSE & Debian on my
machines.
ATM I'm experimenting with openSUSE Leap42.1 running KDE 4, because I do
*not* like KDE Frameworks5 (a lot of others don't either).

Windows is specifically designed for people who don't understand 
computing and don't want to be bothered.
