Yo, so I'm still rocking that old-school, hierarchical Start
  Menu on Windows.

The best part about this classic setup is that it literally maps
out the whole directory tree right in front of you. It doesn't do
that annoying modern thing where it constantly replaces menus in
the exact same spot, leaving you totally clueless about how you
  even got there.

For example, I've got this "Video" program folder set up that
I can instantly open just by tapping G then V. (And hey, if I ever
blank on the hotkeys, they're right there on the screen to remind
me.) Inside that folder, every single video app I own is just
one more keystroke away. It’s a lifesaver for quickly tracking
down programs when the names totally slip my mind - looking at
  you, Avidemux and VirtualDub.

Honestly, I have zero clue how anyone is supposed to pull that
off with these new Start Menus.
