It > has likely saved me more than once. OsmAnd+ has and can do all of that offline, i.e. with only hardware GPS and no mobile Internet (or other 'cell') connection. Kind of handy in areas where there is no mobile coverage for hundreds or even thousands of kilometres! :-)
