That's only one possible (and narrow and unlikely) reading of it:

Article <00nlhf-u2a.ln1@hergen.dyndns.org> contains:

    > Any news on tablets and Linux?
The tablet market is almost dead, most manufacturers already left
    the scene.

That's clearly a response to a question about tablets vis-a-vis Linux.

Apparently there's nothing between "perfect vision" and "zero vision"
for you. Monochromacy is an extremely rare form of color-blindness, yet
you see the world in black and white.

I have seen people use magnifying glasses to read the large print on an
iphone.

No kidding. Having an active market of touch-screen computers that can
run arbitrary software (including the OS) is a good way to get people
working on making nice touch screen UIs for Linux.

The API isn't magic. It's one possible way to implement a touch UI.

A 8"x11" touch screen is the ideal form factor to mount on the wall of my
printer room. There is no good space for anything mouse based, but there
is wall space. (And if it sticks out too far, there's no space for that
either.)

It's trivial to get iOS to control two printers, one USB only? Or did
you think I put a complete specification in?

Hard to do a whole lot until you root the damn thing.

My need to run anything at all under windows has been tax software one
week per year for about the last five to ten years. (And before you tell
me otherwise, and inform me of tax software for Macs, I'll point out IRS
Form 1041 taxes for estates is and has not been available for even Macs:
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4369986-will-intuit-eventually-offer-turbotax-business-for-mac-or-the-ability-to-file-a-form-1041
)

But given that Intuit has actively lobbied to make US taxes more
complicated, because then people want to use programs like Turbotax, I
actively boycott them and use Taxact for for my tax filing needs.
