I *do* use emacs 23, actually, and prefer it to Xemacs.  Was just
pointing out that I'm ok using software that's not easy on the eyes.
I'll try that color scheme tonight and see if it works. Truth is, I use
most editors - emacs and vim - on the console, so lousy Xwindows
graphics aren't often a problem :)
