This is pretty old news in the UK - the classic Duncan Campbell BBC
series "Secret Society" ran an entire episode on the dangers and abuses
of centralized databases. It's a good series, well worth a watch. It
was produced in 1987 and many of the predictions it makes, and problems
it points out, have come true.
Watch the whole series
here:"magnet:?xt=urn:btih:5d36be43e07fe880a3c4ee7efa881248820a7729&dn=secret+society+suppressed+bbc+series+duncan+campbell+1987&tr=http%3A%2F%2Ftracker.openbittorrent.com%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Fopen.demonii.com%3A1337"
(strip " from each side of this magnet link).
Or if you prefer the Youtube, the relevant episode from the series can
be watched here: ("http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDS3VtzC-yk").
His show led to a major political scandal in the UK, and the series
itself was suppressed by an official order
("http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zircon_affair"). This is no run of the
mill jibber jabber Alex Jones type series - it is a serious piece of
investigative journalism.
