Got to think about this one for a moment. Usually they portray these advances as benefits to the consumer when they're really benefits to the corporation. I don't find SIM cards /that/ inconvenient, after all, and where I live the bulk of the population has bought dual-SIM phones that already do a nice job of balancing work and home life. Is this really an effort to improve the user experience, or do electronic SIMs offer more benefits to the networks and device manufacturers?
