Actually comments say what you THINK you are doing and why.

Two entirely different things - and the why is more
> important than the what.

Assuming I do not die unexpectedly, I am the poor programmer that 
has to maintain code I wrote 1-10 years ago.  A well commented 
script is a lifesaver.
