Rather it's just that the user pointed out the close relationship
between the two: you can implement a "place-alias" like your `letplace`
using `symbol-macrolet` and you can implement `symbol-macrolet` using
`letplace` (or so I presume, since we could do that with gv.el's
equivalent to your `letplace`).
So it made me wonder about this design space and whether maybe someone
has found something that's "more better" than either of the two.
