Hi Christoph:

I found (on stackoverflow) the following script to activate console.log on 
my IE8 dev machine (a win xp (sp3) system).

    I place the code below (as console.js) just before </head>, then I 
tested.

    Console.log worked in my suspect onclick function, but I still can't 
find why my 'hang' occurs on IE8 and not on Chrome ??
