(_maintain_) True. OTOH, functions/methods should not be long.

I have been using the following code styles (in no particular order):

A)

  loadImages(myArray, function (result) {
    console.log('All images loaded!');
    /* result contains an array with the Image elements */
  });

B)

  loadImages(myArray,
    function (result) {
      console.log('All images loaded!');
      /* result contains an array with the Image elements */
    });

C)

  loadImages(
    myArray,
    function (result) {
      console.log('All images loaded!');
      /* result contains an array with the Image elements */
    },
    foo);

D)

  loadImages(
    myArray,
    function (result) {
      console.log('All images loaded!');
      /* result contains an array with the Image elements */
    },
    foo
  );

But I can see how using a property reference can be of advantage.
