Gradle is better and does all what maven does but less XML config. At least Netbeans supports both Maven and Gradle and the project can be deployed fine. The reason to use Maven or Gradle is that they provide the dependencies more professional way ;) -- "I wonder", he said to himself, "what's in a book while it's closed.
