If I set the icon image to null it displays the old Java cup. The only way to make that completely go away is to call setUndecorated(true) which removes the entire title bar, which is then tedious to add back in with the minimize, maximize, and close buttons to just make the image go away. Is there something easier now I'm missing? I am currently using Java 8 but would also like to hear if something has been added for this in a newer version. > <https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6868928/remove-default-jframe-icon> -- DF.
