I would suggest 2+ from the big 4:
* Java
* C#
* PHP
* C/C++

And then pick one language from each of 3+
groups from the list below.

Client side:
- JavaScript

JVM languages:
- Scala
- Kotlin
- Groovy

Apple languages:
- Objective C
- Swift

Scientific programming:
- Python
- R
- MATLAB

System programming:
- C/C++
- Rust
- Go

Sysadm languages:
- bash
- PS
- Python
