I would suggest 2+ from the big 4:

* C/C++

And then pick one language from each of 3+
groups from the list below.

- Swift

Scientific programming:
- Python
- R
- MATLAB

System programming:
- C/C++
- Rust
- Go

Sysadm languages:
- bash
