You can tinker with setAutoResizeMode(); but absent some reason to 
the contrary, I usually rely on the default.

For improved visual coherence, the tables can share a selection 
model, much as you have done with the scrollbars' BoundedRangeModel:

tableA.setSelectionModel(tableB.getSelectionModel());
