Fair comment, cmd.exe it is from XP on, and I would agree that cmd.exe 
provides a (32 bit or >) shell that is quite different from the old 16 
bit DOS shell provided by command.com. Nontheless I still say we all 
know what the OP meant when he said 'DOS command'

I need to keep up with Windows as I volunteer at an adult drop in centre 
for older and or disadvantaged people who are struggling with our 
glorious governments obsession with putting services online despite the 
fact that most of the people who use these services are the people least 
likely to be able afford or use computers, let alone an Internet 
connection. I do all my dev on Linux, have done for years. I just 
registered my 8.1 box for a free Windows 10 upgrade, which, apparently 
is free (for a year), not sure what they expect after a year, if it's 
cash then fdisk /u it is ... oh wait a minute, there's no fdisk :-(

Anyway, find attached some virtual courgettes, French beans and a couple 
of sticks of rhubarb, the courgettes are mouthwatering when lightly 
fried with a bit of butter and served hot on toast with an egg and 
rhubarb fool is one of the true wonders of the culinary arts.
