Taking a look at this page... http://source.android.com/source/building.html The language on that page suggests to me that the Google Android repository is not going to run in a Windows IDE. Maybe it's a very old description, but it would be have to be older than the prior Windows Eclipse IDE used for making Android applications. And I don't think it's that old. They say you can use a virtual machine to run Linux in Windows. That would be unnecessary computer gymnastics if you could have used Eclipse in Windows proper (without the virtual machine) instead. I appreciate the questions though, there are some things I need to figure out in order to try compiling the whole kit and caboodle.
