My goal is to import and modify the stock Android KitKat clock application. I think it's great to be able to modify stock applications. My job is to figure out how to get them loaded into the IDE. I used Git to download the KitKat stock clock application for importation into Windows Android Studio. The odd folder names are shown in my prior post. Importing and running it produced 63 errors. I tried researching them and came up empty. I have a feeling the errors have to do with IDE project settings configuration stuff. Those settings might not be part of the repository. Or maybe they are there but meant for the Linux installation of the Android Studio IDE. The folder names for the stock clock are completely different than the sample projects that run fine in Windows Android Studio. Currently I'm doing a Linux installation. I guess it won't help, but will see.
