Firefox has a "reader view" button that takes away all that silly formatting and makes the page much more readable. That said, I didn't bother to read the page because the author couldn't bother to make it readable. Did I miss anything important? I also don't read much on hackaday.com because of the absurd formatting. -- Rick C

If you have a web browser that doesn't shackle you, select menu-path View / Style / User mode. Otherwise, copy and paste the text into a text editor. It is disgusting that so many mindless punks think that making their web pages scarcely legible is "kewl". They care only about the look, not the readability. In this they are quite similar to chimpanzees.

You can also use a proxy. Some of them strip the page style. For other websites, simply highlighting/selecting text will change it to readable colors. > It is disgusting that so many mindless punks think that making their > web pages scarcely legible is "kewl". It's not just web pages from "kewl" people. Even major sites, like Hackaday, create hard to read text. They use white text on a black background, which can be read when in front of the monitor, but not when on the couch. I usually highlight everything on their website to turn it from white text on black background to blue text on white background. Another website I use has red text on black background, which I have a hard time reading when in front of the monitor. Rod Pemberton -- "Well, many people are really f---ing stupid too.
