Forth (you tried it, and failed): : logbase ( rbase -- ) create fln 1/f f, does> ( r -- log[r] ) fln f@ f* ; 2e logbase flb 10e logbase flg The Haskell solution looks more like math, but the Forth solution is pretty close in what it does.
