But he only has to write his bubblesort once in order to reuse it :)
And likely it will be adapted from existing code.  The notion that
there exist ANS routines that will load and run without a hitch and
do everything one requires isn't reality.  I don't see Chris will be
worse off going it alone.  The only issue is whether one can
achieve all that one sets out to do.  It's the reason Standards are
so appealing.  All the details have supposedly been worked out by
the experts and all that's required is compliance.  Well, that's the
theory.
